1979 The Pop Group 'We Are All Prostitutes' T-Shirt – Signed by Mark Stewart & Band

The Pop Group “We Are All Prostitutes” 1979 original promotional T-shirt for the band’s seminal anti-capitalist single. Features the iconic Margaret Thatcher graphic with red typography and contrasting blue, pink, black and yellow screenprint. Hand-signed across the front by members of The Pop Group, including the late frontman Mark Stewart.

Produced by Fifth Column, the influential London screenprinting workshop founded in 1977 at the height of the British punk movement. Known for creating hand-printed merchandise for bands including The Clash, X-Ray Spex, The Damned and The Jam, Fifth Column played a defining role in the visual language of early punk and post-punk.

Constructed from lightweight cotton that has softened and thinned considerably with age. Good vintage condition with scattered marks, staining, small holes and general age-related wear throughout.
